An ex-pat living in the UK is taking to Craigslist to sell his iPhone 6 Plus and 6S Plus.
The man, who wishes to remain anonymous, has spent more than 20 hours trying to sell the phones, which he says are worth more than $1,000.
“The phone can be sold for a very reasonable price,” the ex-craigslist user said.
“It’s a lot more expensive than I thought it would be.
The phone is really easy to remove and there are no fingerprints on the back.”
The seller, who is in his early 30s, said he wanted the phones for personal use but said he would also sell them for his friends’ phones, as long as they paid the same price.
“My wife was a little worried about me selling the phone and said it’s going to be expensive for her,” he said.
“I’ve had people try to sell me a Samsung Galaxy S5 for $400, but I’ve been saving it up for as long at as much as $500.”
He said he had no plans to sell it, but was looking for a “good deal” as the phones had only been in his hands for two weeks.
The ex-pornographer said he was considering selling the phones in his home country of the United States.
He said the iPhone 6S and 6Plus are “really solid phones” and that he would not mind if the seller could sell them on the internet for $200 to $300.
“If the seller is willing to sell them to me, I will sell them online,” he added.
“It’s worth $1k more than what I would have paid for them at the time.”
The ex’s ex-girlfriend, who has been using the same phone for three years, said she had a similar experience.
“They’re really good phones.
I just don’t think I’d be able to take them with me when I left for work.
They’re worth $400 and I’ve got no regrets,” she said.
